Christie has been a member at Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc, MI since 2017. She has been serving as parish nurse for over 16 years. Christie is a RN with a BSN from Oakland University and a Master of Arts in Deaconess Studies from Ft. Wayne Concordia Theological Seminary. She has been married to her husband, Jon, for 22 years and they have three sons. As a Deaconess Parish Nurse, she serves Faith Lutheran Church while also serving as the LCMS Michigan District Parish Nurse Representative as well as RN Case Manager for Mental Health resources for Commissioned and Ordained Church Workers. Christie currently serves as the chair of the LCMS Parish Nurse Council and is a member of the Michigan State University Care Management conference committee. She is currently finishing up her Post Graduate Certification in Bioethics. In her free time, she loves to cook, sew and knit.
