The end of the year is jam packed with (in my opinion) all of the best holidays. From Thanksgiving to New Years and everything in between, there are so many opportunities to gather with our loved ones and celebrate through various traditions and festivities.
My family has always celebrated Christmas as the day God sent His only Son into the world—born in the humblest of settings. As the carol Away in a Manger says, “Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, the little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head.” It amazes me that the most omnipotent being chose to arrive as a sweet, helpless infant. That contrast has always struck me as profoundly beautiful: unimaginable power wrapped in the tiniest, gentlest form.
And while no other child will carry the same divine power as Jesus, every new life enters the world with extraordinary potential. Each baby carries the possibility of inspiring goodness, shaping their community, and creating meaningful, lasting change. Every single life deserves to be met with open and friendly arms, and our organization works every day to help women and their families feel they have the means to do so.
As our year closes out, I want to thank you for an incredible 2025. We were able to reach so many women with our life-affirming message through our “Life. The Other Choice.” ads. Our affiliates promoted life in their communities through various dinners, fair booths, parade floats, and more. We hosted thousands of pro-life advocates at the Michigan March for Life, showing people across our state, including our state legislators, the size and commitment of our movement. And so much more.
Going into 2026, an extremely important election year in our state, let us continue to remember what this movement is about: helping women and promoting life at all stages. Every ounce of effort we put into this movement is to help those who may not be able to help themselves. Let us take the generosity and hope of this holiday season and incorporate it into our mission all year round. Thank you again, and may you have a very blessed holiday season.
