Dr. Robin Pierucci was the speaker at our RTL St. Joseph Dinner 2 years ago. She announced that night that she was beginning a non-profit called Navigating Fetal Concerns that would advise parents whose unborn child’s diagnosis she calls “complex” and where the parents have been encouraged to abort their children rather than bring a handicapped child into the world.
Here is an article about her and her organization from Live Action News:

Retired neonatologist answers the call to help families receiving a prenatal diagnosis

Dr. Robin Pierucci, who recently retired after over 25 years of practice as a neonatologist and bioethicist, quickly stepped into a new initiative: supporting parents and families who experience a prenatal diagnosis, along with the compassionate healthcare professionals who seek to serve them well. …
Dr. Pierucci’s medical and bioethics background uniquely equipped her to spearhead Navigating Fetal Concerns, an organization offering “compassionate, trauma informed, medically-accurate support for families facing a fetal diagnosis.” The framework for NFC is based on an amalgam of her years of clinical work and what she learned from Be Not Afraid, a non-profit group that is “dedicated to equipping organization and professions to support parents carrying to term following a life-limiting prenatal diagnosis.”
That support begins with filling out a basic contact form on the website and continues through the first year after delivery, completely free.
Pierucci spoke with Live Action News about the heart behind Navigating Fetal Concerns, as well as what families, friends, or concerned healthcare professionals can expect when they reach out through the organization’s website.
