For Choice to truly exist, women must be given every opportunity and the support they need to make a Choice for Life. Compassionate outreach and faithful education cultivate a culture of life and characterize our work and broader movement. We are reaching out with new, compelling educational resources and materials to engage people and grow an ethos of life. When people are open to a conversation about the truth, sense our authentic love in a time of need, and grasp the dignity and value of every person, hearts are moved to choices rooted in hope, not fear.
Life. The Other Choice. Our advertising campaign doubled pregnancy hotline calls in three weeks—a clear sign we’re reaching women and saving lives. The hotline reported its biggest year ever. Our volunteers working in 80+ affiliates across Michigan are bringing this message into their own communities, one conversation at a time.
We wish to help the people in Michigan grow their families and preserve long-standing protections for parents, women and children including the unborn.
- Reinstitute safeguards for women, i.e. abortion complication reporting.
- Protect parental consent for a minor girl seeking abortion.
- Ensure taxpayer dollars are not used to fund other people’s abortions through already strained federal and state programs.
- Work to protect approximately 100 Pregnancy Resource Centers doing good work in our communities across the state.
- Expand prenatal and postnatal care so Michiganders have the support they need to grow their families.
In the State of Michigan a woman can have an abortion at any time in her pregnancy for any reason.
